The lid is top rack dishwasher safe. Remove the small silicone pressure valve cover after washing and air dry. We recommend hand washing and air drying the thermos container to prevent water from getting trapped inside the walls of your thermos and to keep the outer finish like new.

Why is there a crack between the container and the lid?
The design includes a space between the lid and the body of the thermos. This does not affect the seal of the thermos itself.
How To Prep Your Thermos:
- Fill thermos with boiling water for hot foods & ice cold water for cold foods — Close the lid as quickly as possible.
- Heat food to put in thermos.
- Let sit for 10 minutes (the perfect time to get those shoes on their feet!)
- Pour water out and immediately fill thermos with food — Close lid as quickly as possible.
